How I Take Care Of My Hair Part 2

Sisterhood health 2 002.jpgEveryone's hair is beautiful in it's own natural state. Have you ever took the time to think that YAHWEH made you fearfully and wonderfully? And HE knew what kind of hair would be suited for each particular person. Just because you may not like, or it's not the type, or maybe you do like it, and it is the right type. Still YAHWEH gave it to you, so in that we must be faithful in our duties to take care of it, and watch it grow.

Last time I wrote about caring for my hair, I mentioned a few of the products that I used, well I've done a slight change in some of the products that I use. First of all I still wash my hair once a week on and off, I may use VO5 shampoo. But I always use VO5 conditioner. As I wash and rinse my hair thoroughly, I normally comb my hair out while I'm in the shower. Only when it is wet, Never when it's dry! For your hair is strongest when it is wet, and weaker when it is dry. I no longer use the Palmolive hair moisturizer.  Since the last time I wrote about my hair, I know my hair has grown a bit, but I didn't measure it with a ruler or anything, but you can compare the previous photos with now, and you can see the difference. After my hair is washed, rinsed, and detangled, I use my fingers to part my hair in sections, and I put it in about 15 or 20 individual twists, and that's the protective style that I use. I also use a leave-in conditioner called Cantu, that I put on each individual twist as well as my homemade shea butter mixture. I leave my hair in this style for about 2 to 3 days, then I repeat my regiment until time for the next washing and there you have it!

Shalom, shalom
