Pregnant But Still Exercising

Exercising is an important part in one's life; and it is something that we should do often, not just once in a lifetime. Throughout my 31 years, and the times that I've been pregnant, I am finding out more and more how the exercising really helps.

Of course just about everyone usually have difficulty on their first child as I did. When I was first pregnant, I thought i didn't need to do any kind of exercises, since I was already active. I thought that I could eat anything I wanted and thought that everything was going to be just fine. Oh what a mistake that was!! I gained 50+ lbs. of excessive weight, and just felt miserable. It wouldn't be bad if most of the weight was baby, but it wasn't, it was eating junk foods, and etc.. With my first child I didn't do any kind of exercising until I was in my 7th month, and even with that, it still wasn't much of anything, and when it came time for delivery, the pain felt like I was going through the Valley of the shadow of death. (That's the best way that I can explain it! )

So on my second child, I came across an article. I can't remember the name of it, but it stated " While you are pregnant, whatever you are doing rather it's excercising, swimming, jogging, walking, or etc.. Don't stop!  Keep doing it, but remember to do it in moderation, in other words, Don't overdue it!

Going on with the story, with my second, I exercised 5 to 6 days a week, and stayed active. When it came time for delivery, the pain was still there, but not at all as the first, it was nothing that I couldn't bare, for Scripture says: "As travail upon a woman with child'.... But todah YAHWEH that HE has helped me with both of them, And I made it through. HalleluYAHWEH!!

Now that I am pregnant now with my third, I am still exercising and walking 3 miles 5 to 6 days a week and I todah YAHWEH that HE gives me the measure of strength daily. All Honor, Praise, and Power belongs unto Him alone. In closing, Pregnant or not, Get outside, Exercise,Walk a mile or two. Always remember and keep in mind that YAHSHUA went that extra mile for you, so step out on emunah, and YAHWEH will see you through!

Sirach 18:19, 30;15-16, 1 Timothy 4:8

Before you speak, learn, and before you fall ill, take care of your health.

Health and soundness are better than all gold, and a robust body than countless riches.

There is no wealth better than health of body, and there is no gladness above joy of heart.

For bodily exercise profits little: but being chaciyd is profitable to all things having promise of the life that now is and that which is to come.

Shalom, shalom
