There Were No Junk Foods
Shalom all achotee (sisters) I want to share with you some things learned over the past 40 years about taking care of our physical body. When the scriptures were written, There were No "Junk Foods." They were created by man to "Kill, Steal, and Destroy": Kill your body, Steal your money on wasteful food, and Destroy any Healthy Life.
Here are some simple thoughts:
1. Eat foods that YAHWEH makes.
2. Eat foods in their simplest form. It will save time and you will eat less. (if you wash romaine lettuce and drain it- you can just put it on a plate in long pieces and just eat it piece by piece with your hands)
3. Eat as much raw food as possible.
4. Eat simple- don't mix too many foods at one meal. Try to limit 3 foods at a time, except in salads- eat as many "colors" of vegetables as possible.
5. Make breads without yeast as much as possible. Use sourdough starter or none.
6. Don't ever drink with your meals ---- you will eat less. Many people "Drink" their meal - they take a bite and then wash it down with a drink." You need your saliva and stomach acid to digest your food. Drinking will dilute and then you will have gas and other troubles.
7. Drink at least 30 minutes after your meal. Better is 1 hour.
8. Never drink or give your children fruit juice- Eat The Whole Fruit- YAHWEH made the fiber in fruit to slow down the "Natural Sugar" in the fruit. Sugar is sugar- even too much fruit is not always good. If your children need or want juice put about 1 or 2 inches of juice in a cup and fill it with water- diluted. They will get use to it.
9. Sisters should try to eat "Dulse" For Natural Iodine. This helps prevent Breast Cancer and Thyroid Troubles. Some symptoms of thyroid troubles are hair loss, eyebrow loss, tired all the time, cold hands, cold all the time, etc.. I buy Whole Dulse that comes in a bag at the Health Food Store - it looks like Chewing Tobacco - Just pull a small bunch each day and eat it. If you hate the taste some people chop it up and put it into their salad. It tastes like salt. It is a sea vegetable
10. Read All Labels. I Do Not Eat Any Food With "Soy" In It. Most Health Foods have soy in it, to increase the protein on the label. (People think they need High Protein) Make your own food. Soy makes children sterile- women too. Do not use Soy milk. Use Rice milk, Goats milk, or Almond milk, etc..
11. These are "Sugar" Foods: Anything with "ose" on the end like Dextrose, Maltose, Sucrose... All are Bad Sugar Do Not Eat. If you need something sweet eat a piece of fruit.
12. Eat "Melons" Alone. They don't digest with other foods eat watermelon alone, then wait at least 2 hrs. to eat again.
13. On fruits and juice, to get a glass of orange juice, it would take 4 to 6 oranges or more. You would never eat that many oranges at one meal- That's way too much sugar. At most, you would eat 2 oranges and be full. So eat your fruit. Do Not Drink It.
14. Most Important: Veggies " Fruits" Cleanse "Veggies" Heal Fruits clean out the body but vegetables with all their vitamins and minerals heal the body. Onions and garlic should be eaten everyday. Eat raw as much as possible-- You will eat less. Chew chew chew . Eat Slow. Carrots are great for the eyes and "Look like an eye" When you cut them- like the iris-How clever YAHWEH is. Celery looks like the bones. It helps our bones. Eat more sweet potatoes than white potatoes. White potatoes are high in carbs which is sugar. Do not eat fruit with vegetable, except an apple cut up in your salad or juice (those who make veggie juice) Apples seem to be ok with veggies.
15. Faith without works is dead- Food without exercise and pure water is almost dead. We need YAHWEH's own foods sunshine everyday- It comes through the clouds also- it's always up there Pure water in between meals- Lots of it. It washes out the body. The bowels need to move everyday and the best is after each meal. They Say: 3 trains in, 3 trains out- meaning if you put food (train) in you should have it come out 3 times also- Like the trains. Meats take a long time to digest and do not have fiber in them. Veggies, fruits, nuts, and seeds. All have fiber. Lots of rest. The body heals while we rest. No unforgiveness in your life- It causes poisons in the body. (acids) Think simple- It does not have to be hard.
16. No Complaining! IF THE CHILDREN OF YIRAEL ATE MANNA FOR 40 YEARS- WE CAN EAT NUTS, SEEDS, FRUITS, AND VEGGIES, PURE WATER (NATURAL MEAT, FISH, AND FOWL IF YOU DESIRE IT)- THAT'S A LOT OF CHOICES- WE SHOULD NOT COMPLAIN- THINK ABOUT MANNA WHEN YOU WANT TO COMPLAIN! THEY HAD 1 FOOD- WE HAVE HUNDREDS TO CHOOSE FROM.
