Cherry/Pecan Ice Cream Jubilee

Cherry Pecan Ice Cream is one dessert that the sisterhood, and the Tshuwah family enjoy. We have found a way to make it quick and easy. Together we can share in this same jubilee.

Ice Cream Ingredients:

 

Cherry Pecan Ice Cream Jubilee in a goblet1 jar of  Maraschino cherries

2 cans of sweetened condensed milk

1 -16oz cool whip

2 cans of evaporated milk

1 Tbsp. vanilla flavor

1 Tbsp. almond flavor

1 cup of pecans

1 Tbsp. butter

1 Tbsp. sugar

 

 Preparation of Pecans:


Preheat oven 400°

1) Combine chopped pecans, sugar and softened butter in a small bowl. 

2) Spread onto a small baking sheet.

3) Place in oven.

4) Bake and stir.

5) When pecans, sugar and butter becomes slightly hardened, remove from oven.

6) Set aside and cool.

 

 Cherry Ice Cream Preparation:


1) Dice cherries and set aside.

2) Combine condense milk, evaporated milk and cool whip and beat with an electric beater until smooth.

3) Pour pecans and cherries into mixture and stir.

4) Pour cream mixture into a large container with lid.

5) Place in freezer for 8 hours or unto frozen.

Makes approx. 7 servings
