Creamy Orange Sherbert Delight

There is nothing like homemade ice cream! The recipe below is simple, delicious  and easy to do. YAHWEH Sisterhood would like for you to share in our delight!

Ingredients:

 

1 can of sweetened condensed milk

1- 8oz cool whip

1 can of evaporated milk

1 can of frozen orange juice(or pineapple juice or lemon/lime juice)

1 Tbsp. of orange flavor


Preparation:

 

1) Combine condense milk and evaporated milk  with an electric beater.

2) Add cool whip and beat until smooth.

3) Pour your frozen juice concentrate into the other ingredients and mix together.

4) Pour cream mixture into a large container with a lid.

5) Place in freezer for 8 hours or until frozen.


Makes approx. 7 servings


* If you would like to make pineapple sherbert or lemon/lime sherbert, substitute frozen pineapple juice or lemon/lime juice for the orange juice.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, I can not wait to make this orange sherbert delight. I;m really going to try as many of the recipes as I can each week. I cook three or more days a week, but I have not done any home made cakes or ice cream since my sons were little ones. I'm looking forward to making the rolls and ice cream.
