Sukkot 2009 Menu

 Harvest Time

(Day 1)

The sisterhood enjoyed preparing this meal for all those who were able to attend Sukkoth this year. The banana pudding was a hit! It was prepared somewhat different by adding sour cream into the ingredients. This addition gave the banana pudding a new twist, yet it remained delicious in taste.

Southern Eating

(Day 2)

We enjoyed the taste of a good "ole" home cooked meal of mashed potatoes, with teriyaki beef, and that wonderful green bean casserole as a side dish which perked up the meal. The creamy green bean casserole topped with cheese and  French fried onions caused everyone to applaud the cooks for a job well done.

Home Grown & Grilled

(Day 3)

We had the pleasure of eating organic free range chickens that were grown on the community, which made a meal fit for a king. The chicken burgers were cooked on the grill over flame fire. They were served with french fries, turnip greens, rice, and cookies.
