Whole Wheat Rotini Alfredo

Everyone enjoyed eating the whole wheat rotini noodles as a hot salad, although it could have been eaten cold.

Ingredients:

12 oz. whole wheat rotini noodles

2 cups reduce -sodium chicken broth

2 Tbsp. butter

8 oz. Philadelphia cream cheese

1 cup Kraft Grated Parmesan Cheese

1 cup dice carrots

1/2 cup dice carrots

1/2 cup dice onions

2 Tbsp. fresh chopped chives

1 tsp. celery powder

1 tsp. seasoning salt

1 tsp. garlic powder

Preparation:

  1. Cook pasta as directed on package.
  2. Over medium heat saute´ onion, carrots, celery powder, and seasoning salt in butter until tender.
  3. Add chicken broth , stir in cream cheese; make sure cream cheese is completely melted.
  4. Drain pasta, toss with sauce and parmesan cheese.
  5. Garnish with parika on top (optional).

 

Bake in oven at 375° for 15-20 minutes.
