Whatsoever You Do,
Do It Heartily
I Revonda, a servant of YAHWEH and of YAHSHUA the MESSIYAH greet you the saints of Almighty YAHWEH.
Eight years ago, I moved to this community. I did not know
what to expect. At that time there was nothing here but the woods full of trees.
Small campers were moved in gradually to accommodate the ones who were staying
on the land. Each day I was blessed to watch the brothers cut down the trees and
clear the land for homes. The sisters that lived on the land prepared the meals.
You must remember that the cooking was done outside on a gas grill. We
picked the fresh vegetables from the garden and prepare a meal with them. The
saints who were in the Congregation did the work in the garden. Every Sunday and
sometimes during the week, the saints would come from their various
locations and work the gardens, cutting down trees, or whatever task they were
needed in.
Water was carried from the nearby stores and used for
drinking, bathing, and cooking. During the day we put our shower bags out
in the sun; by night the water would be warm enough to bath. We heated the
water in large pots on the gas grill for cooking and dishes. We ate outside
together with the bugs, mosquitoes, deer flies, ants, and many other creeping
things, but YAHWEH blessed the fellowship. Life was simple then. We continued to
cook outside for many months. YAHWEH, eventually blessed us with a facility
whereby we were able to be moved from the
outside to the inside. The cooking
quarter was a small area large enough for a small gas stove and short cabinet.
It seemed large to me after cooking outside. We moved all our cooking utensils,
plates, pots, pans, etc. into the new kitchen. We had great fellowship and fun
while we were moving. After many months the community started to grow.
I began cooking here for approximately eight people. This was not difficult, because I grew up in a family of eight, and I prepared meals for them. As the community multiplied, the meal preparation had to change. The way you seasoned a pot of food for eight people was not the same as it was for one hundred eighty people. I had to sincerely seek the ABBA (FATHER), and inquire of HIM how to prepare the meals.
I asked YAHWEH my ABBA how do I cook for HIS people? I do not know how to cook for so many people. YAHWEH knows that HIS last day people can be like the children Yisrael that were in the wilderness. They have come from different ways of living. The ABBA assured my heart to do all things as unto HIM. HE placed on my heart that I cannot cook to satisfy "Lust". Lust can never be satisfied. If I do all things to please HIM, I will satisfy the people. With the fear of YAHWEH in my heart, I prepare each meal with carefulness, and ever mindful of HIM. I wait for the sweet Words YAHWEH will say to me "Well Done, Thy good and faithful servant".
I leave this verse of scripture with you in TesloniqYah Alef-(1Thessalonians)1:3, Remembering without ceasing your work of faith, and labor of love, and patience of hope in YAHSHUA THE MESSIYAH in sight of YAHWEH our ABBA.
May
Almighty YAHWEH Bless You and Strengthen You.
HalleluYah
