Spring Colors
The season has changed, and the spring showers has caused flowers to pop-up and bloom. So I thought I would change alittle as well by getting brighter, bolder, and prettier colors for making my clothes! I went to Wal-mart and purchased 2 pieces of fabric, to make a spring outfit. My shirt fabric cost $3.47 a yrd. I got 3 yrds. My skirt fabric cost $2.45 a yrd. I got 3 yrds. So my outfit cost me with taxes $20.00! It took me two days to make my outfit because I do other things around my home. So I made my skirt one day, and the shirt the next day!
My son's suit only cost me $.25 The shirt fabric came from a thrift store, it was in a bag with 3 other pieces and the whole bag only cost $1.00. The fabric for the pants came out of our cloth house! It only took about an hour and a half to make his suit. So we looked nice and springy on a nice spring day!
