Tshuwah's Stewed Cabbage

If cabbage is one of your favorite vegetables, try this very simple way to stew it. The combination of the different ingredients bring to life a flavor that is most enjoyable.

Ingredients:

1 large cabbage head

1 large onion

1- 12oz can of chicken broth

2 medium size carrots

1/2 cup of oil ( your choice)

1/2 tsp. seasoning salt (no MSG)

Preparation:

1) Cut cabbage head 1/2  inch thick.

2) Shred carrots.

3) Cut onion in half, then cut into thin slices.

4) Stir-fry carrots and onions with the oil. Set aside.

5) Put chicken broth  and seasoning salt in a pot, bring to boil, then toss in cabbage.

6) When cabbage is done, add the carrots and onions.

7) Mix together. 

 

Makes approx. 4 servings.
